We provide a variety of traditional Chinese medicine services
Acupuncture is an ancient medical practice, originating in China more than 2,000 years ago. It uses metal needles to stimulate points in the body, often with the addition of manual manipulation, heat or electrical stimulation.
Chinese herbs are an integral component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a system of healing that has been practiced in China for over two thousand years. TCM is based on the idea that the body's energy, or "Qi," flows through channels or meridians. When this energy is disrupted, illness can occur. Chinese herbs are used to balance and restore the body's natural energy flow, promoting health and well-being.

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves
the scraping of the skin with a smooth-edged instrument to
improve circulation, reduce pain, and promote healing. It is
often used to treat muscle and joint pain, headaches, and
respiratory problems.
Kindly be advised that
temporary markings on the skin will be observed for a few days
following the treatment.
Cupping is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves
the use of cups to create suction on the skin. The suction
creates a vacuum effect, which is thought to promote healing and
improve circulation.
Kindly be advised that
temporary markings on the skin will be observed for a few days
following the treatment.
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves the burning of mugwort, a small spongy herb, near specific acupuncture points on the body. The heat from the burning mugwort is thought to stimulate circulation, promote healing, and balance the body's energy.

If your fund is not listed, contact the clinic and we will let
you know if we have any therapists registered with your
particular health fund. Please ensure you contact your health
fund to see if you are covered and how much you can expect to
receive as a rebate. There are so many funds and different
levels of cover that it is impossible for us to let you know
what rebate you are entitled to.
Please Note:
If you are having a massage finishing around 7 pm, please be
aware that the HICAPS system shuts down briefly for daily
reconciliation.
HCF is the only fund listed that DOES NOT
use the HICAPS system, please be patient with us as we will have
to email you a receipt for your claim.
You cannot claim
using the EFTPOS receipt even though it says Seacrest Massage on
it.
